The Economics and Politics of Human Sexuality

S for Sexonomicsexonomics, as the fifth social science, is about the economics and politics of human sexuality. It involves the magic triangle of sex, money, and power: the art of marketing human sexuality. Like all art, it involves esthetics, risk-taking, and a certain air of gamesmanship. However, Sexonomics® also constitutes a science. Since the sexual drive of normal women and men is as natural as their desire for happiness, it is therefore subject to an objective analysis. Sexonomics® studies the linkage between human sexuality, material welfare, and personal well-being in a social context in which the equal empowerment of women and men is presumed to be encouraged and promoted.

Typically, women and men engage in sexual intercourse because they:

We commence our reflections by confirming that most individual women and men, in the course of their lifetime, experience each and every one of these choices. However, the highest percentage by far, reflecting upon the several decades of their fully bloomed adulthood, quite voluntarily participate in the rational use of human reason when playing their sexonomic strategies and games

Sexonomics® regards the marketing of human sexuality as a rational quest to obtain the maximum of happiness. Sexonomic rationality represents an objective form of behavior, in which the sexual inter-action of intelligent women and intelligent men emanates from Reason as the control centre. Successful marketing enhances the full development of human sexuality and is expected to secure for the sexonomic players, during the course of their adult years, highest material welfare and optimal personal happiness.

In Sexonomics®, the concept of “pure love” expresses an equal “giving and taking” and “sharing” without any material considerations whatsoever: the sexual togetherness of the lovers reflects deep-seated spiritual needs which enable them to reach the highest plains of happiness. On the contrary, Sexonomics® regards the term "fornication" as a business proposition: the rational exchange of cash or assets for love-less sex (sex in its “crudest” form), between those who "need to do it", and those who will "provide the service".

“Happy” marriages constitute a particular example of the effective linkage between sexuality, loving, and sexonomic reasoning: the sexonomic investment is paying off. “Unhappy” marriages represent opposite examples: the investment is not paying off and is most likely to turn into a disinvestment.

The evolution of society reflects the growing significance of sexonomic reasoning concerning linkages between women and men (lately, even in “same-sex” relationships), situations that are rooted in the magic triangle of sex, money, and power. At all levels of social structure, most of these linkages are directly linked to situations in which human sexuality is intertwined with material self-interest
